Our client is a renowned Private Equity Fund, investing into industrial and services companies across the European region. Currently, they seek to add a Director level professional to their Munich office.

The Role

Origination

Run your own origination initiatives, in line with the firms’ origination processes
Add value by your extensive network
Developing attractive investment cases with the team

Execution

You are the mastermind behind the deal execution
Lead full execution of portfolio transactions, including due diligence, legal documentation, and commercial assessment
Negotiate key transaction documents
Travel in Western Europe
Coordination of external advisers

Portfolio Management

Support portfolio companies in add-on M&A, financing and exit preparation
Take board seats and help companies to execute the investment case
Lead junior colleagues in value creation initiatives

Requirements:

A team player with experience in M&A (particularly, but not exclusively buy-side)
You have worked ideally in principal investment roles
Your understanding of private equity, your international network, and your track record in private equitystyle investments is outstanding
Fluent in German and English, professional use of French would be a big plus
Solid background in business administration or engineering (M.Sc. or MBA)
10+ years of experience
You have spent most of your working life in growth and small-/mid-cap situations
